That said, I do still think there is much to be gained by giving thought at the outset about how best to utilize the software and optimize the organization of the your data for ease of access (both through navigation and search). In addition, I usually encourage new users to dive in fearlessly when they start building their first brains since some initial experience with the software will often reveal more about the potential of TheBrain and how it's use can be customized to meet each user's unique needs and preferences. This means that what you've seen in the mini-demo is reflection of design decisions that were made over a period of several years as my use of TheBrain continued to evolve over time. I have to confess, however, that the design and organization of my own megabrain grew completely organically, with lots of gardening along the way.
